ドイツと韓国を拠点に活動するアーティストデュオ Nayoungim & Gregory Maass (Germany/South-Korea) によるインスタレーション作品を神田小川町にあるコミュニティアートスペース優美堂にて開催します。 彼らの作品は、適応性、正常性、方法論といった周囲の状況や環境、物事へ適合・順応することを探り、 あらゆる視点でものごとを見つめ直す作品を制作しています。 また、哲学、精神分析、サイバネティクス、経済、科学、SF、コミック、食文化、サブカルチャー、陰謀論 など多岐にわたる領域からインスピレーションを得ています。 

Nayoungim/ キム・ナヨン、Gregory Maass/ グレゴリー ・マース ナヨンキム（韓国名：キム・ナヨン、ソウル生まれ）とグレゴリー・マース（ドイツ、 ハーゲン生まれ）は、ナヨンキム & グレゴリー・マースというデュオで活動する 2 人組 のアーティストである。 彼らは韓国のキム・キム・ギャラリーの創設者でありながら、一般的なアートギャラリー の形式はとらず、非営利で運営している。自身の制作の傍ら、キュレーションや展覧会デ ザイン、希少な美術書の編集なども行う、マルチに活動するアーティストデュオである。

Artist: Nayoungim & Gregory Maass

We are pleased to present an installation by artist duo Gregory Maass & Nayoungim (Germany/South-Korea) at the Yubido 2F Gallery Space.
Their work explores adaptability, normality, and methodology, adapting to and adapting to surrounding situations, environments, and things, and creates works that reexamine things from various perspectives. They
also draw inspiration from a wide range of fields, including philosophy, psychoanalysis, cybernetics, economics, science, science fiction, comics, food culture, subculture, and conspiracy theories.

An installation by artist duo Gregory Maass & Nayoungim (Germany/South-Korea). Exploring issues of adaptation, normality, perversion, and methodology, their work is inspired by diverse sources including; philosophy, psychoanalysis, cybernetics, economy, fringe science, science fiction, comic books, food, sub-culture, and conspiracy theory.

Nayoungim (Korean name: Kim Nayoung, born in Seoul, South Korea) and Gregory Maass (born in Hagen, Germany) are a duo known as Nayoungim & Gregory Maas.

Nayoungim & Gregory Maass draw on a wide range of subjects for their work, including philosophy, psychology, science fiction, the British Arts and Crafts movement, music, comics, outsider art, subculture and food.

They are the founders of the Kim Kim Gallery, but they do not operate as a conventional art gallery, but as a non-profit organization. In addition to their own creative work, the multi-disciplinary artist duo also works as curators, exhibition designers, and editors of rare art books.
