The abyss gazes also
2012

Is an installation of Gregory S. Maass and Nayoungim.
It is composed of empty and/or inclined pedestals.
Figurines: on one steeply inclined pedestal is a collection of figures by Gregory S. Maass and Nayoungim, ranging from homoerotic toy BillyBoy to the kitchiest vase with bubbly glazes to an ancient Korean Grave offering in form of a drinking vessel. To the whole Doraemon family. All these figures are straightened out with wedges, inclining the displayed figures back to the horizontal.

Toy houses
Small sculptures composed of chemical compound teaching set modules (for the chemistry class in high-school).
The windows are tinted red with a transparent adhesive sheet, which is overlaid with a grid. Shedding a red tinted daylight over the exhibition hall.

A flat and large pedestal is jammed into one corner of the exhibition.
It is nearly displayed as a color field painting.
