“Les Liaisons Dangereuses”

The installation of GM & N, will display white prefabricated German ceramic figurines multiples in relation to traditional Korean Headwear.  GM & N will use a vitrine in used for Coreana Museum to install their work. An installation of object art like this will contain contradictions between the visual knowledge of popular culture and high art and find itself affixed to mismatched situations with hats that are also of industrial origin. But the auxiliary material that accompanies the works as well—titles, colors, presentation, commentary—also reveals contradictions when it comes to these concepts, for example, the question of whether the kind of pop knowledge used in the exhibition context at hand is really pop or not perhaps arcane and/or loaded with problems of cultural representation. One of the most important here could be the antipode between the autonomous sculpture and the readymade, or between “can do” or “would like to do,” when industrially made found pieces are placed alongside difficult to learn traditional hat production techniques, so that it sometimes seems as GM & N are working with a faux-surrealist variant of the culture of quotation.

모자를 토끼에 씌울거여서
천으로 만들어 뒤로 늘어지는 형태 말고요
전형적인 모자 형태가 나오는 것으로 써야할듯 하네요
첨부하는 사진처럼 자그마하고 모자형태가 전형적으로 나오는 것으로 모아주시고요
(핑크 표시가 선택한 모자, 그리고 여자용은 족두리처럼 조그마하고 모양이 딱 떨어지는, 남바위형 말고요)
